Chrysalis' philosophy is that a steady job is the single most important step in a person's transition out of poverty and onto a pathway to long-term self-sufficiency. Offering a hand up, rather than a hand out, Chrysalis empowers its clients to complete a self-directed job search. Additionally, since 1991 Chrysalis Enterprises has provided transitional jobs for its clients with the greatest barriers to employment. By providing valuable work experience, Chrysalis Enterprises helps clients gain the necessary skills needed to re-enter the job market.

Operation Mend is a unique partnership that connects the best of the military's resources with the skills of exceptional surgical and medical specialists at UCLA. What began as a program for complex facial reconstruction evolved to offer a wide range of surgical specialties, medical services and advanced diagnostics and treatment planning for traumatic brain injury (TBI) and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). The Operation Mend team takes great pride in tailoring each patient's care and providing a truly seamless experience. From picking the patient up at the airport gate upon arrival to arranging entertainment outings for family members, every aspect of each visit is coordinated and paid for by Operation Mend.
