Alta Yen

Alta Yen is a senior managing director for Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors focusing on renewable infrastructure investment opportunities.

Prior to joining Kayne Anderson in 2019, Yen was the managing director of strategic planning for GE Company. Prior to that position, Yen worked at GE Energy Financial Services, the energy investing division of GE, where she held numerous roles such as leading the development of investment strategy, overseeing the underwriting team for the debt business and managing a portfolio of equity investments. She has twenty years of experience in the power and renewable sectors in both debt and equity investments.

Yen earned a B.A. in International Relations from Tufts University in 1992 and an M.B.A. from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business in 1999.
