Mark Niles

Mark Niles is a senior vice president for Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors’ liquid credit strategies, where he is responsible for broadly syndicated loan and high yield bond investments.

Prior to joining Kayne Anderson in 2019, Niles was a senior analyst at Western Alliance Bancorporation, covering healthcare, media, and business services as part of their syndicated loan strategy. Prior thereto, he managed venture debt investments in media and technology companies for Silicon Valley Bank and was a senior analyst and founding member of the credit platform for Silver Lake and an associate at American Securities Capital Partners evaluating distressed opportunities and special situations. Mr. Niles began his career as a high yield and structured product analyst for Well Fargo’s principal investments team.

Niles earned a B.A. in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley in 2002 and a M.Sc. in International Economics from the University of London in 2005.
