Shara Piptone

Shara Pipitone is associate legal counsel for KA Real Estate where she is responsible for providing legal oversight to the real estate private equity and debt platforms.

Prior to joining Kayne Anderson in 2020, Pipitone was an associate for Kasowitz Benson Torres LLPs’ commercial real estate group, where she represented lending institutions in commercial-backed securities and asset-based lending and developers and borrowers in acquisitions, leasing and financing or refinancing for commercial or residential projects. She previously worked as an associate at Shutts & Bowen LLP.

Pipitone earned a B.A,. summa cum laude, from Tulane University, and a J.D. cum laude from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. Pipitone is admitted to practice law in Florida.
