Lee Baker - Kayne Capital

Lee Baker is a vice president on the medical office team at KA Real Estate where he is responsible for the asset management of Kayne Anderson’s medical office portfolio, ensuring quality and performance of investments.

Prior to joining Kayne Anderson in 2019, Baker was senior manager of asset management and underwriting at Medical Properties Trust, Inc., a publicly traded REIT formed to acquire and develop net-leased hospital facilities, in the U.S., Europe, and Australia. He began his career in healthcare quality analytics and consulting at Cardinal Health, before transitioning to the real estate investment industry in 2012.

Baker earned a B.S. in Economics from Birmingham-Southern College and an M.A. in Economics from The University of Alabama.
