Shane Shepherd

Shane Shepherd is a senior vice president for Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors’ middle market direct lending strategies.

Prior to joining Kayne Anderson, Shepherd spent four years with GE Antares Capital, most recently as an assistant vice president, where he focused on new business development and portfolio management for the middle market, private equity focused lending business. From 2007 to 2008, he served as an associate at Merrill Lynch Capital focusing on middle market, private equity lending. Shepherd began his career at LaSalle Bank as an associate where he focused on general commercial banking and leveraged lending.

Mr. Shepherd holds a B.S. from Indiana University.
